Hi folks
Is there a way within opus to check via the registry(or otherwise) whats on the comm ports and put that to a variable. Or am I just talking through my hat.

Hi Paul,

Opus can read and write registry values, so if the data is there, then it can be read into a variable. However, I don't think that the information you want is stored in the registry in any useful form.

For example, the registry does store the comm port for my modem, but this is under modem keys and does not indicate whether the modem is in use.
