Hi,

I'm working on a dictionary project. I need to run a search function after the user response finishes. In other words, user types in a text box, and I want to use a trigger which runs an action 0.5 secs after the user types his last letter. Opus Help Search dialog is an example. the matched words are searched after the user response finishes.

Thanks in advance....

You could turn off the default "Update variable with every keystroke" in the text input box and then set an action for the text box with an advanced trigger of "variable changed" to the variable you have set to store the input. This could then have a delay of 0.5 sec before any further search action.

I hope this helps

I've started loving Opus much more day by day.

Clive, thank you very much for your help. It worked in a way exactly what I want.
