Just wondering,

1. Is it possible using the update function to include accumulative updates? IE SP2 includes SP1 changes as well.

2. Using the DLL function, one of the examples given was linking to a dictionary - does this mean it would be possible to get those red squiggle lines under misspelt words?

The update system simply replaces page or chapter files, so whatever elements you update will be replaced wholesale.

If you were to write a dictionary DLL and combined that with the script drawing functions I can see that it might be possible - but it would not be simple.

This is a bug with the version of IE7 that ships with Vista - the error was seen during the IE7 beta but the release version for XP works fine. Unfortunately the Vista version is still wrong.

To fix it you need to re-register occache.dll before attempting to install the program. Do this after starting up, before opening any IE windows. If you are using Vista you will need to be logged on as an Administrator. Note that if you get an error message you may need to do this in Safe Mode

Go to Start -> Run and type in
Code:
regsvr32 occache.dll

and hit OK. Then re-run the installer.

Opus: Opus Pro 9
OS: Win 10/64
Duncan,

after uninstalling the v6 trial version and now trying to install the v6 full version I get the same error message and v6 does not start.

I tried regsvr32 occache.dll but got another error message. Then I tried again in safe mode but the error message appears though.

Is there another way to solve this problem? (Interestingly the previous installed trial version did run with no problems).

I have to work on an urgent project and currently cannot get Opus6 to work.

Thanks in advance for any help.

T.
