Hello all,

Just working with Opus, and running into some problems.

I need to print a dynamic page. I have made a seperate page in a printable format, of a screenpage. If i link to this page normally with the action "go to page", all the variables are displayed. When I use the action "print", only the background (master page) is printed with the static elements. My dynamic content doesn't get filled.

Can anyone help? Thanks.

What version (and service release) of Opus are you using? This should work in all current products.

Illuminatus Opus Professional
Version: v2.81
Level: Professional
Build Date: Apr 2 2003 18:05:42
Build Type: Release

The information I'm trying to print come's out of a database. A script fetches it from the db and fills the textfields. But only if i open the page, not when i print the page (printing, as in a button to print that specific page).

This will only work in 04.10 or higher. You might want to consider upgrading to the current version (upgrade prices are available!)

It is possible to achieve the same effect in 2.81 with a bit of effort - put the printable versions of the pages in a chapter that opens in a very small (e.g. 2x2) new window and add an On Show trigger to the pages with a Print action that prints themselves in and then closes the window.
