IS there anybody out there that has been able to get Opus to "see" a video input? - ( from either a webcam or a CCTV camera ).

Im interested in developing an interface for both projects.

IS this sort of thing possible with Opus?

Cheers....

Rick.

Yea, I guess your right. - I always KNEW I wasnt alone in thinking about various projects that could be AWSOME - if DW would include this as an option.

On that, I actually did post off an e-mail to DW about the possibility, - the answer I got was that it would be a "special development" version and the initial development would start at around at $1000.00 ( I'm thinking at a thousand dollars Aust!? ) - thats way out of my price range.

But still ON that, - I think that if enough developers pushed for such an inclusion, either as a plug in or as an updated version of Opus --- ( 7.0 perhaps? ) I think DW would be surprised at the support for it.

Lets consider for a moment just a few of the new projects and services that could be created using this new feature....

Custom Web cam applications - chat applications - remote video streaming applications from either intranet, internet, or local network - security applications....( and thats off the top of my head! )

The point here is that we have some SERIOUSLY awsome users out there that could design some fantastic projects for both fun and commercial use with this additional feature.

So, if you upport this as a feature. lets hear about it, and what you could do with it.
