Hi,

I try to lauch a bat. file, works in windows en cmd but not when used with Opus? Any ideas?

What have you already tried to do?

Did you create a Button Object, then select an ACTION of "Launch File" where you need to put the name of the file ("something.bat") in the first field ("Launch this file").

This may not work in Preview, but go ahead and Publish, then make sure the BAT file is in the same directory as the publication (.exe file). You can use "Additional Resources" (Publication Properties) to automatically add your BAT file each time you Publish.

Let us know what happens. I've had success before...

Works now in previeuw, but not when published???!!!!!

I run a bat.file that puts an image to the internet.

ftp -s:ftplogin.txt ftp.xxxxx.nl

put "C:\Program Files\Software\Uploads\Pads\tre\aswq\5T43TT.png"
bye


I placed all these files in the publication dir, when I run it not from Opus it works

System: Core 2 duo 2Ghz, RAM 3GB, Nvidia Go 7700 - laptop
Just a Wild guess. Are those .png files ever used within Opus... so that they become included in the resources prepared when Published? Not sure if that's a factor.
