Hi folks
I have a page where I can drag 2 points and once droped a line is automaticaly drawn between them. When I goto another page and come back again the line is gone and the points are back in their original positions. Is there a way of having the points and line remain in the draged position.
Cheers
Paul

No. opus doesn't work that way. Objects are drawn when a page is loaded. What you can do is record the positions before changing page and use this information to redraw them on page load.

It is not a straightforward task for pages with large number of objects and does need plenty of thought and planning. There are some excellent discussions of the various methods that have already been posted.

Depending on your scripting level start with the get / set position functions or if you are designing a complex publication consider GetPersistentObject().

Thx Mac
I have decided to use a frame on the one page and just hide it. It complicates the page but seems to work ok.
