I have upgraded to Opus 7 and republished a publication to the
internet.

When the publication runs I get the Plexus plugin being updated. But
instead of completing the installation it simply repeats indefinitely
the progress bar sequence. I can see it is saying "Opus Player 6.4" in
the sequence text. I have to cancel the update.

I have tried un-installing the Plug-in and removing registry entries
but with no success.

Is this anything to do with Opus 7 or something else I have done?
I am running on Internet Explore 7.0.5730.13

Anyone else with this?

Opus 7.0 publications will not run using the 6.4 plug-in.

As the release is not public yet, DW have probably decided not to release v7 of the plug-in yet either.

The machine with Opus 7.0 will run the publications though, any others will have to be configured manually - unless the manual download has been updated - but I've not checked that :-)

Mack

PS as for compliance, I know that the plug-in works fine for FF / IE / Chrome and I believe Opera for most publications with SCORM supported in FF / IE out of the box.

Thanks Mack,

I guess I was too quick off the mark.

I'm not sure what you mean by "any others will have to be configured manually "? The manual download from Digitalworkshop is still version 6.4 so not updated.

These posts are '~old'. So not the most current information, but may give some clues or ideas for what to check.

Also... viewtopic.php?t=3666&highlight=manually+plugin

Cheers.

Thanks guys for the feedback.

I think Mack is probably right as I have published to the web using the plug in for a long time. I can see what tomorrow brings and check with DW in then.

This is the install for v7 plexus:

http://www.digitalworkshop.com/OpusPlug ... _Setup.exe

But the Opus 7 install includes Plexus, so on the machine with Opus installed you shouldn't need to also install Plexus.
