Hi,

v 7 is fabulous!!! It builds on the already awesome previous Opus Pro versions. Definitely worth buying. :)

An interesting, if minor observation:

I've noticed that when I open a 6.4 created IMP in v7 and save it as a new IMP, some of the smaller script windows (not script objects) while reproducing the exact same script, will now show "script contains errors" at the window bottom. The previous version's script window for the same exact script showed the script as "OK."

I carefully examined the scripts side by side in Notepad: they are exactly the same.

This seems to occur where the script has an extra curly bracket (})at the end, which seems to have registered OK (and worked OK in preview and runtime) in v 6.4 but now, in v 7, displays the error message.

Interestingly, the script with this bracket runs OK in either. If I remove the extra bracket in v 7, the error message turns to OK, and the script continues to run without problems.

So, it doesn't seem to make any difference in functioning. I wonder if the v 7 script editor has a more "sensitive" threshold for extra brackets?

Kind Regards,

Hi Stephen,
Curly brackets should always be in {} pairs -- an extra bracket is a fault in the code and Opus should show the error.

cheers
Paul

There was a (very minor) bug in the old versions where minor script errors like this weren't being reported in script actions.

And now it's fixed. :D

Hi Dave,

v 6.4 already performed extremely well, and v 7 has now taken quality to an even higher level.

Thanks for developing this superb software!!! :)

Kind Regards,
