Good day,

I'm trying to understand arrays etc. Can someone please explain to me and offer a possible solution.

The following attached file allows you to create a blank.csv file and then update it. Why is it that if I change the file name to a new one, open it and edit certain cells do the blank cells have the text undefined in the blank cells. It works perfectly well when you update the blank.csv file but not when you update another file. I do not want the text undefined in the cells that have been left blank.

Thank you

I think I’ve managed to sort out a solution, but it might not be the right one. But it works.

The problem occurred when I created a new CSV file from a variable fileName2. I then opened the file, edited some of the cells and then updated it. When I tried to re-open the file the blank cells contained the text undefined.

So my solution was then to overwrite my new CSV file with the blank.csv file.
