I would like to implement a browser in an application that automaticly opens a site.
So far nothing special and no problem, but i would like to hide the browser if there is no internet connection.
Any ideas how to do that?

Sure. Why not?
What have you considered as possible so far?

I think if you are serious about this, you can set up GetInternetData() and run a condition test based upon what result you get.

Otherwise I suspect you will need to run some .bat file or 3rd party utility to verify a successful ping or connection. What have you researched so far?

Yes that. Not my area of expertise. You can find earlier posts on the topic, and also a couple posts/examples in the Tutorial section (if I recall, those were done using standard actions).

You'll need access to a web server running either PHP or ASP.

Here's an example that calls the following simple PHP file from Interaktiv's sandbox.

Code:
<?php
echo "found"
?>

The IMP file is attached using Opus Actions not script.

Mack

P.S The files in the sandbox are removed regularly and are provided for learning purposes only.
