Hello all,

When I use the 'launch web page' and/or 'navigate to' action, nothing happens!!!
I would like to start the browser on my PC (so, not the browser object within Opus), but this doesn't seem to work. When I use 'navigate to', I also can't select any browser (nothing is listed), though I have both Opera 11 and Internet Explorer 8 installed.
Any suggestions on how to solve this problem?

Jan

Hi Jan,

I think you might be confused. The "navigate to" is designed to use the browser object within Opus NOT an external browser like Opera. The launch webpage though should work and does as an admin under W7x64. Whether this is a UAC issue, I haven't check since Vista which did cause problems.

If you want to launch a browser external to Opus, (not a browser object) you should use the 'Launch File' action.Put the browser executable file name in the 'Launch this file' eg......iexplore.exe, then put the web site URL in the 'with option/parameter'
e.g http://www.google.com
The option Parameter can be a variable.

Hope this helps

Sandy.

Hello Mack & Sandy,

I have used "Launch webpage" and this doesn't seem to work on my own PC (Windows 7, 64); However, when I run it on other PC's (with different operating systems), then it seems to work OK! I therefor have to look into my own PC, to find out why it doesn't work
