Hi,

I know this has been talked about on here before but can someone help me as I don't understand Opus script and am under time pressure to finish the project.

I have a publication attached of a timeline with a slider. As you move the slider along different objects appear. In Flex the publication works perfectly when published to the internet.

When I change to an Opus Plexus Web publication and upload to the internet the slider button moves all over the place or disappears behind the rest of the page.

Can someone help me with the Opus script to ensure the publication works if made as an Opus web publication. I would prefer the resource to be completed as an Opus Plexus version if possible.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for the quick reply.

No, I am getting the same thing as before. When I try to move the sliding button across the graduated panel, if I push it up or down it will start to go out of view. It is not retained within the panel. However no problems when I publish to Flex(Flash).

I have rechecked my plugin is up to date and still get it. Can you confirm you can't push it out of view as you slide it?

No stays within the frame when sliding. Checked in FF14 and Chrome.

Try a different machine.

Hi Mack,

I've tried looking at it using your link on 2 laptops and my desktop and in IE, Chrome and Firefox but I am still getting the sliding button disappear when sliding if you nudge it up or down. I don't understand why it is appearing OK for you. I've updated the Opus plugin as well.

Well I have found an acceptable work-around as an alternative. If you extend the sliding button above and below the retaining frame by pressing "Ctrl" it allows for the user to slide the button up and down without it disappearing. So I can use that as an alternative.

Hi Dave,

Okay, this bugged me. Took a closer look and I think the Plexus Plug-in might be at fault. On a clean machine using just the plug-in downloaded fresh the handle does indeed drag outside of the frame.

Downloading and installing Opus 8.02 on a clean machine and using that version of Plexus and it works fine.

If you can test this and it is the problem then send support an email explaining the glitch.
