I am trying to create a DSN file with a connection to my computer for web publishing.
I have managed to get an Access database to work fine but when I go about creating a Microsoft SQL database connection (the same way) it somehow fails...

The DSN dropdown on database Query Action page should be populated with a file directory once Created in the selected dropdown. Has anyone managed to get this working?? I have been trying for days.

Hi Tom,

I don't ever recall there being anything posted by people using MSSQL, except some ASP stuff rather than ODBC. It certainly appears that Opus can't communicate with the database using a FILEDSN.

Is it possible to use a USER or SYSTEM DSN connection as these should work.

Mack
