Hi guys and gals!
I am in the middle of assessing whether I can take a project or not. My client requires this particular publication to automatically start every day at set time like an alarm and show a particular page. I have not problem creating this publication because in itself is very simple to do BUT my problem is that I don't know how to make this publication to start automatically at a set time without the user involvement.
So far I have only produced pubs that user have to double click to open and start using but this project requires the pubs starts by itself.
Is this possible to do with Opus?????
Your advise will be highly appreciated
G.Silva

Got it!!
I will use the windows task scheduler to make this app to run a certain time of the day.
It is not a solution I wanted but it will work. I was hoping we can do this from inside Opus pub but I don't think we can't unless someone proves me wrong ( and I will love it!)
Cheers

Opus, like any other software would already have to be running to trigger a time based event. If you intend to have the application running from start-up then yes, Opus can check the time and trigger an event at a specific time - just by using the system clock.
