Hello Everyone,

I am currently building a quiz that has it's answers randomized, but I only want them randomized once and to keep that randomization. I am allowing the user to go back and forth between questions until they are ready to submit all their answers. I am using a Shuffle Position action to randomize my answer choices.

I am not very good at scripting, but I know I'll need to use "GetPosition" and "SetPostion" Here is what I am trying to do:

1. Answers get shuffled once
2. GetPosition() of answers
3. Leave page and come back
4. SetPostion() of answers based off their previous positions

I appreciated any help. Thanks ahead of time! I also attached a sample of what I'm working on that is stripped down.

I assume that if you're using the shuffle action then you're not on Opus Pro 7?

If that is the case, under the general tab, for your shuffled objects, use the restore state and position select box.

Thanks Mack! You help put me in the right direction. I added an "If" statement to the page's actions to make the questions only shuffle once and a page variable. It works like a charm now. See attached screenshot.
