I'm working on an eLearning pub using Opus Professional v 9.03 (to publish as an EXE). One of the exercises would benefit from 3D rotation (for example like this game: http://www.mochimedia.com/games/play/through-walls_v1).

Using Opus (standard actions or script) is there any way to create similar 3D rotation effects that the user can control at runtime?

I'm guessing this is not possible, but would appreciate any suggestions about how it could be worked-around or implemented in a different way.

I can think of two options from within Opus:

1. Depending on the 3D object, construct it yourself - we did this when we needed to create a 3D dice that could roll. It was build from 2D images fitted together and then animated simultaneously to create the 3D roll

2. Use a QuickTime VR object

Thanks, Mack.

I'll take a look at both options.
