Hi All,

Is there an easy way to connect to a ODBC Access Database if developing the same project across multiple systems? Currently we must setup a ODBC connection pointed to a mapped drive on each system, if the mapped drive letter changed it screws up and we have to setup the ODBC again.

I also note that Microsoft has not update the UI for ODBC for a long time, it actually looks like it's a Windows 3.1 interface and it makes finding files in nested folders very difficult especially if the filename is longer than 8 characters.

Is there a standard config file we can use for this and easily edit it with a text editor to change the MS Access MDB database file path?

Thanks, Luke

Not sure I understand but if you mean the connection used during development using the Opus IDE, then will a File DSN not suffice?

It's just an editable text file that can be used by the Opus IDE on an machine to point to the location of the database.

Mack
