Learning HTML5. Any leads on how to create a basic button using the HTML5 object, that will look OK and work in FF Android mobile?

In animation project http://www.digitalgrapevine.info/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=5534&p=25349&e=25349, used the following in an HTML5 object:

Code:
<button onClick="runFullScreen()" style="width:36px;height:33px">FS</button>

Displays OK in Chrome and Opera for Android, but did not display well in FF for Android (just displays the outline, and text area has separate outline inside larger button outline).

This seems to be limited to FF Android, since standard buttons look and work OK in Chrome, Opera.
