Hi,

I was wondering if there is any way to programmatically load a video file.
This means that I don't know which file I want to load during design time, but after the publication runs I want it to be able to choose a video file.
For example, let's suppose that you have a single page with a video object.
I want to update the video file with something new that the publication should show. This would be in the same folder of the old video. But the publication should be able to load this video in the same window / page. Or at least somehow read the new video.

Any ideas are welcome

Dennis

No programming require...

You simply use a variable name in the 'Filename' box on the video tab. Variables, in this case are in <> brackets. IE

Code:
<myVideoNameVariable>

How you populate that variable is up to you, it simply needs the path and name of the video. Then just use the Play Action or Script command for your video object.
