Hi
I posted this topic on the "basic" section but I think I need to post here....

I'm struggling a few days (after reading help topics on this forum) with the next thing. I used Robin Garret tutorial "Part 1 Post Web Data"

The following I setup in Opus9.50 and in a insert.php placed in the root of the server

When I export a row from my sql database it looks like this

So it looks like the row is inserted into the database but the variable 'first" is not updated !

I used the following table options in the mysql database

Anyone has any Ideas?

Thanks in advance

Jim

Both HTTP_POST_VARS and mySQL have been depreciated and should not be used.

There is a post back in September that shows the correct new method.

Yep, I just posted a similar reply in the basic section.

Use MySQLi and look at w3schools for how to format the commands - they changed them around a bit.
