Hi All
See attached imp file.
The user can define a color background.
The variable is stored, but the selected color is not shown when I close and re-open the publication.
Any ideas anyone?

HI All
Looking for a way to change the background color on all pages and save the color to a variable.

I update the imp file from the previous post...made it more simple.
1. There is a single Frame (myBackground) on a Master slide (will be used for all pages)
2. When the user selects a color, the myBackground frame color changes.
3. The color value (bgColor) is stored in an external ini file (\\Themes\\Theme.ini\"Background", "Color", bgColor)
4. The myBacgkground frame in the Master slide contains an On Show script to get the bgCOlor variable
4. I added a GetINIFileData script to the Homepage (to load the saved color value into the frame)

Problem is that I cannot get the save color to load when I run the publication.
Can anybody please help
Yours
Pakapaka

No need to reply to this request.
I solved the problem by adding a missing var statement.
...got it from the Script Help file :)
