I have a grandson who is struggling with speech. He understand fully e.g. If I ask him "Can you say red?" he will nod his head but wont say the word. I can write a simple game which will encourage him to say the word, but can I make the programme recognise what he is saying? I think this might be a tall order, but it would be a great thing to do and might help him. Any help gratefully received.

There is a whole web speech API that you could use.
