Is it possible to use .xslx files in Opus instead of CSV.
I have to use .xlsx files in real time. CSV files is no problem but in this case i don't have time to convert them.

Kind Regards,
Ad Mulders

If it's ODBC then as long as a driver is installed, you can connect. If you're simply trying to save data using Opus' file functions - then no. XLSX is a proprietary format that contains document specific data. CSV is just plain text with commas.

If you mean an example of how to create an XLSX file, then I'm afraid that's not possible using Opus.

The contents of such files are machine readable only. Meaning that unlike, plain text, HTML or XML - the contents make no sense to a human reader.

I've never done any research on the matter, but if I had to pick somewhere to start because my project had to have the ability to write to XLSX, I would look to see if a DLL existed or could be written.

Thanks Mack for the clear answer.
I have to read a file from a server and now i have an idea to automate the conversion
from xlsx to csv, by every update.
CSV files work great so in i can automate it the problem is solved.
