Hello everyone

Loading video address from variable in browser. I am using the Navigate to Variable function and the video is properly loaded into the browser.

My problem is that the video in HTML5 starts automatically and in the Android publication it is only loaded and to start use the browser control.

Browser.startObject (true); did not work

Is there any solution for Android to start the video automatically after loading?

Hello
I tested on PC in Firefox, Opera and Chrome browsers and multimedia are properly loaded jpg and mp4 file and mp4 video starts automatically. On Android device, HTML5 are not loading multimedia, jpg or mp4 files. This is the case in Chrome and Firefox browsers that are on an Android device.

Generally, mobile devices won't auto-play audio and video without user interaction. Desktop browsers are following suit and it's becoming standardised across platforms.

Google explain it here for Chrome - https://developers.google.com/web/updat ... cy-changes

I don't have much call for solving this video but with audio you have to create a JS audio element and play it at the start of the project using a click event. Then you can reuse the audio element for autoplay by swapping out the audio source.
