Wondered if it is possible to write some JS or use an external JS library to flow text between text fields on separate pages?

The project contains a lot of written content, edited/updated regularly/frequently. So, if each time text is added or removed from these, if it doesn't reflow between them, it becomes difficult to fix these (much cutting, pasting, reformatting every time).

If I could edit/update one text file on the server holding all of this written content, then have the text pulled into the text boxes, re-flowing between them, this would be a big time saver.

But, I wonder if it can be done, especially in an HTML5 pub? Challenging!

Any thoughts, suggestions appreciated.

Kind Regards,

I don't see how JS could know where you wanted the formatting. At best, an automatic JS system would be based on character count but it would be a technical cut point rather than a semantic cut point.

If the purpose is to simply avoid re-editing an Opus project, then maybe setting the format on the server would work better. Paginate the text using different fields or a solid block demarcated where each field or block can be displayed on an 'Opus page'.

You then simply have two Opus pages (or use frames) and load the next segment (or previous one) of text accordingly.

Thank you, Mack.

I appreciate these suggestions, will see if I can make them work for this project.

Stay safe!

Best Wishes,
