You can write an ActiveX control right now and use that in Opus (or any other ActiveX container) if you want to do something complex.

Duncan, I have VB6 and can create ActiveX exe's and dll's. And I feel the urge to do something complex. How would I "use" one in Opus?

Thanks v. much,

Melanie :D

I'm a novice when it comes to Active X, but I do know that every piece of security software that I use (anti-virus and firewalls) warn against allowing Active X components on my system.

I hope I know enough to be able to decide when to allow and disallow, but what about my end-users?

If I incorporate Active X in a pub, and the end-user blocks it, what then of the viability of my pub with an Active X component?
