I have a cd based presentation that the client has (at the last minute) decided they want to run on their website as well.

When I publish it, I choose publish for the web, data file for each page, splash screen off

Most of it works ok with minor tweaks, however I can't get the half dozen pdf files to launch. what the hell am I missing?

Opus 4, windows xp sp2

thanks in advance for the help

David

Is your PDF in your publication folder or located where your launch string is launching from?

Also, I tried it a couple of ways. The first time I tried launching the PDF via a Launch File option. This didn't work. The next time, I launched is via a Launch Web Page action. This worked, so possibly you will have to create two versions - one regular one and one web-based one?

Hi
The pdfs are in the publication directory, when you use the launch web page do you have to specify where the pdf's are? If I add the name of the pdf in the address it still doesn't want to launch

I just put the name of the PDF in the Address field. And then you would just make sure it was in the same location as your HTML files that Opus generates.

Hi
Thanks for the help - I had the variable in the wrong box, once I swapped them round it worked.

It had been driving me nuts all morning
