To save lots of time experimenting can someone advise whether or not two sound files be played at once?

If necessary I can mix my sources outside of Opus and then import that sound file - but it would speed up matters if Opus can already cope.

To explain - I have one background sound that plays continuously on page enter. On that page is an optional voice-over. If the user mouse overs the appropriate image, I want the background sound to reduce, but only whilst the voice-over is playing.

Use a "mouse over" action to trigger the reduction in volume of the soundtrack and to play the voiceover:

Mouse Over ->change volume (channel or file) -> play voiceover.wav

Use a "mouse exit" action to trigger the change back to original volume level of soundtrack and stop the voiceover (if that's what you want to do).

Or, if you want the voiceover to play out to the end regardless of mouse position, you could use a syncronization trigger and syncronize to end action to restore the original volume level of the soundtrack when the voiceover is finished.

I am assuming you are using Pro or XE - Don't know if this applies to Presenter.

Hope this helps,
Bill

Is it possible to put together a small example for us on the sync option?
and the opusscript that can achieve this. Did require this option but ended up not playing background music for a page that needed own wav file

No Opus script necessary. Attach your sync trigger to an invisible frame. See example.

Hope this helps,
Bill
