Hi, I've using Opus Pro for a good few weeks now, but this has totally got me, after reading the help and searching the forums, I'm afraid I need a shove in the right direction please.

I have a frame on a page, with the frame selected I insert a button in to the frame, no problem. In the explorer I drag the button out of the frame on to the main page. However, no matter what combination of keystrokes or dragging in the explorer can I get the button to go back in to the frame. The help file mentions ALT&G, my cursor changes but I'm not sure what to do with it.

Draging the button up and down the explorer list merely moves it above or below the frame, not in it.

Sorry if I'm missing something really obvious here, I have a bunch of pages already authored, and I need objects put in a frame.

Thanks, Kurt

Wow, thats been bugging me all afternoon, another ten minutes and I would have found a simple 'cut and paste' cured it.

...more coffee.

coffee always helps...

but you can also drag and drop with the right mouse button and you'll get and context menu as you drop onto the frame that lets you insert into.

If you haven't already done so, visit http://www.digitalworkshop.com/Download ... nual.shtml

and download the Opus User Guide.

I find this more comprehensive for some topics covered / not covered in the Help Files.

Opus is interesting...

I have found that when I want to "organize" things (or 'organise' things), working over on the left side in the "organizer" view is great. Use 'right-click' there and you can right-clk Drag into the Frame. Then choose 'Insert into'.

At other times or for other operations, it is better to select the object in the graphical work area.

Great - thanks guys, have now downloaded the User Manual.

One thing that amazes me is that the moment I find I can't do something, I just know it can be done in Opus, I just need to find it.

Excellent tool...

Have a good weekend everyone!
