Hi. I want to make a publication with a transparent central panel. The publication needs to be always on top. It will consist of a border of 10 or 20% screen width so that another program is visible underneath the central area. The controls will be on the border only but the publication, border and controls must not be dragable. Any ideas, please?

Assuming you know the screen size to be used it seems quite easy. I used 1024x768.

I created a pub with the the following properties.

Publication: Window:
Display in Window: ticked.
Always on top: ticked
Transparent background: ticked.
(Everything else unticked)
Size 1024x768


Chapter Properties
Size: 1024x768

Page Properties
Use Background: unticked

This gives a completely transparent page to which you can add vectors, buttons, text etc around the edges to use for your border.

Thanks for the reply. It looks like the transparent function is available on Pro 04 but not on Pro 2.81
