I made a publication with my Opus XE last summer.
Everything worked well untill recently. (dec 2004)
When i start the published program it will stop after pressing a button.

NO i did not set the evaluation option.
I tried to publish it again, but even then it won't work.
What can be the problem

If you like to see the scource file please send me your e-mail so i can give you the exact adress

Like to hear from one of you soon,

kind regards,

Scotch

Hi,

Thank you for your enquiry.

This is not a known issue and, without seeing the publication, all I can recommend is a clean reinstall and update of Opus Pro XE to see if this resolves the problems. The following steps should assist you in this process:

Please first uninstall all versions of Opus from your system. To do this, click Start > Settings > Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs. Look through the list of installed programs for any references to Opus Presenter 04, Opus Pro 04, Opus Pro XE 04, Illuminatus Opus, Illuminatus Opus Pro, Opus Pro XE or Opus Presenter. If found, click on the entry to highlight it, then click the Remove button to uninstall the software.

Once all versions of Opus have been uninstalled, please right-click on your Start button and select Explore... Navigate to C:\Program Files and look for any folders referring to Opus Presenter 04, Opus Pro 04, Opus Pro XE 04, Illuminatus Opus, Illuminatus Opus Pro, Opus Pro XE or Opus Presenter. If found, simply click on the folder to highlight it, then press Delete on the keyboard.

Once all Opus program folders have been deleted, click Start > Run, type regedit and click OK. Double-click on the HKEY_CURRENT_USER folder to display its contents. Double-click on the Software folder to display its contents. Now single-click on the Digital Workshop folder to highlight it and press Delete on the keyboard. Click Yes to confirm the deletion. Now please close the Registry Editor using the X icon in the top-right of the screen.

Now reinstall Opus Pro XE using the original installation CD-ROM. Once installed, please launch the program and click Help > About Opus Pro XE > System Information. If the version number is listed as v2.7, please download and install the latest update from:

ftp://ftp.digitalworkshop.com/pub/opusu ... _SR281.exe

If your version reads v2.8, your software is already up-to-date and this update will not need to be applied.

Now launch Opus Pro XE, load in your publication and publish to a standalone executable. Test the resulting executable and see if you are now able to progress past the first page.

If the problem persists, please forward your publication .imp file to support@digitalworkshop.com and I will be happy to investigate further.

Kind regards,
