Hello,

Is it possible to use transparent polygons in Opus04 (SP4) Flash export, I've tried to use them and they are not exported to SWF.

Considering that Flash 5+6 supports transparent polygons can this feature be expected soon? Also will the Opus SWF export engine be updated to take advantage of Flash 7?

Hi,

Thank you for your enquiry.

I'm afraid that it is not currently possible to use semi-transparent polygon fills in Flex publications. However, it is possible to apply a transparency effect to the entire vector shape. Please try the following:

- Create a new publication in Opus Flex mode
- Select the Vector tool and draw a filled vector circle on the page
- In the Organiser pane, right-click on the Vector object (not on its polygons) and select Properties
- Select the Effects tab
- Enable the Transparency effect and set this to the required level
- Click Apply and OK to confirm the changes
- Now publish the project and you should find that the transparency is preserved in the resulting Flash file
