Hi

I am building a large publication in Opus Pro (4.5) ad I am evaluating the cross platform publishing possibilities. I know that I can use Flash Studio Pro to create Mac executables from a Flex publication. Does anybody know of a way to copy protect Flex publications on CD? Specifically, if I created a Mac projector using Flash Studio Pro, how could I protect my publication on a Mac CD? Those software-based CD protection schemes I have investgated, like Software Passport, are PC only ...

regards,

Brian

Hi,

Thank you for your enquiry.

The only Mac-compatible CD Copy Protection measure I am aware of is Sony's SecuROM (http://www.securom.com), although the Mac version is only available by request.

It may also be worth contacting some of the other big players in this market, including Macrovision (http://www.macrovision.com) and LaserLock (http://www.laserlock.com), to see if they can supply Mac versions of their protection routines (even if these are not yet 'official' products).

Kind regards,
