What does rendering do? When I right click text, and I click Render, what will that do to the text? I have some text with flare, blend alpha, and texture. The texture does not show up when I publish. What does rendering this text do, and would it fix this?

Rendering an object (or collection of objects) replaces the original objects with a bitmap that looks exactly the same. The main reasons for doing this are to speed up display or to avoid embedding a font. If you have a complex collection of effects on an object or want to use a font that you cannot redistribute then you can render the object to a bitmap version. The generated bitmap file is losslessly compressed so it will always look exactly the same as the original item(s).
Note: you cannot go back to the original objects from a rendered version (other than using the undo of course!). So if you are going to work on a project in future, it might be best to keep a copy with all the objects in original Opus form and only render any objects just before publishing.
