 Post subject: Printing text in a web publication

Hi... i have a text object in my web publication and it is larger than the page so i use scroll bars, when i send it to print it only prints what´s on the screen and the rest of the text doesn´t, if i use the scroll bar to see the rest of the text and print it, it prints what ever is on the screen, i tried to print a text file .rtf but nothing happens when i send it to print, any solutions for this?... i use opus pro 04.50

Glad to have you on our forum! Welcome.

OPUS normally has several ways to solve any problem. Here's one that immediately comes to mind:

1) Create a new Chapter.

2) Create a new Page within your new Chapter. Go into Chapter Properties, and set the size the same as the full Object you want to Print.

3) Create a new Object then stretch it to completely cover the entire new Page, then add the text or image you want to print.

4) Go to the original Page where you have your Print Button. With a Trigger of "Left Mouse Click," set the Action to "Print" then select the new Page you created in Step #2.

You will never actuallly display this hidden new Page in your presentation, but OPUS will print it when you click your Button.

another one... do you know how can i link the component gallery "search" to the publication search database? i would like to have a custom publication search dialog box...
