I am trying to find ready to use templates to help with setting up kind of database to be used with flex publication. required a script that help in storing user information plus questionnaire scoring results.
it seems from what I read that I need to create a CGI script which I have o idea how to create.
any help is highly appreciated

You need to create a script (in whatever language you chose: Perl, PHP, CGI etc) that runs on the server and interacts with the database. You then communicate with that script using the Post Web Data action in Opus.

The writing of a server side script is entirely dependent on the language you use but most will provide tutorials and simple scripts that integrate with MySQL (or similar) to provide database access.

Your choice of server side scripting may be determined by the access you have to the server - if it's yours then you can go whatever you like. If it's maintained by your ISP then you will need to talk to them about hosting databases and scripting languages.
