Hi,

in "launch file action" (or even in script), how must i wrote a pathname with several word separate with a space ?
example in launch file action :
1) "option/parameter" : c:\Ag2004\armor oeuf 2004\galea.ppt doesn't work (with the second folder name "armor oeuf 2004")
2) "option/parameter" : c:\Ag2004\armoroeuf2004\galea.ppt work (with the second folder name "armoroeuf2004")

thank you
benoit

Hi,

Thank you for your enquiry.

There are no known issues with spaces in the target file path of a Launch File. Indeed, I have just tested this with a PDF file stored in my 'My Documents' directory (the full path to which is 'C:\Documents and Settings\Robin Garrett\My Documents') and the Launch File action works correctly when previewed and published.

Can you not simply browse to the file you need to launch to eliminate the possibility of any spacing errors or typos?

Kind regards,

hi,

It is not the target file path that doen't work but the "with option/parameter..."... and for that tab there are no "browse" button, i must write the path...
example : if i want to open a powerpoint file with the "launch file" : look at the joined picture

thank you
benoit

Try putting inverted commas around the path, for example:

"E:\Ag2004\armor oeuf 2004\travail\galea.ppt"

The target application should now accept the entire path, including spaces.

I hope this helps.
