I want to make a CBT module that includes a glossary, but I am new to Opus. Can anyone suggest a recommended method for doing this? Is there a sample/tutorial that covers this issue?

Hi Bill, welcome to our Opus family of users!
Could you please clarify a little more what you need?
Do you want help creating the CBT or creating a glossary?
I have done glossaries before and all that requires is to produce a chapter in your pub called glossary and create as many pages as your glossary requires then you can use the text tool to write down your glossary like a dictionary.
If you want, you can create links from the normal pages in your pub where a particular word with an entry in the Glossary is located, this way when the user click on that word it will be transported to the location in the Glossary containing the meaning of that word.
The chapter called Glossary can be setup in a way that appears in another window on top of your pub. This is achieved by changing the properties in the chapter by selecting window instead of using the pub properties. Make sure the dimensions of the pages in your glossary is such that it will not cover the entire pub when pop up.
I hope this help. Do not hesitate to ask for more help if you need it.
Another method will be to declare certain words in your pages in your Glossary Chapter and include a button with a search capabilities in your pub so if people want to search for the meaning of a particular word, all that they have to do is click on the button called search (if you want to create a button rather that incorporating the search in your pub) and the search engine will pop up so the user can write the word they want to look for...

German,

Thanks for the quick, informative reply. Regarding the method quoted below, can you point me toward an example of such a publication?

Hello Bill
I have created a quick publication to show you one of many ways you can create your glossary and link specific words from your main pub to this glossary. As I said before, this is just one of many other possible ways.
I hope it helps

Hi German,

Thanks for posting the sample glossary. It is helpful. I apologize for not responding earlier, but I got diverted onto other projects!
