For presenting to a group, I want to place Hotspots visible on page, and simply MouseOver "Up"/"Down" and have the active Text Object scroll lines continuously. I do have scrollbars visible, but too small area for presenting.

Simple action, but I do not want to do lots of scripting for each Frame/Text within Multiframe. Setting one up then duplicating and subsequently inputing text content is fine. May have 20+ Text Frames. (each one explains parts of a diagram)

The steps I think of are:

1) Have a Page Script Object 'find' all Text Objects in a Multiframe
2) Use MouseOver action on a Hotspot or Object... to Scroll lines.
* Multiframe is advanced by a MouseClick on separate Button.
3) Script to check if or when Text Object is the ONE showing

The issues:
How to have Hotspot "pick" 1 of 20 Text Objects in MFr to scroll. A Page 2 may have 1 of 12 frames, etc.

Is "Multiframe" getting in my way... other approaches???

prelim work attached
Thanks
Lar

Chris,

I checked it out and works fine. Overly simple it seems.

I'll play with it from here to get faster scrolling, or if needed set parameters to scroll to index (line) for certain documents.

Thanks again for setting it on the tracks.

Lar
