Okay, I know it's gotta be me.

My pointer disappears when I mouse over my publication. I have a button that launches a web page and when I'm over that, my pointer appears. Everywhere else, you can't see it.

It's working in all my other apps.

I know it's late for me right now. I'm sure I'm missing something EASY. But right now, I'm getting a bit frustrated. Any ideas?

Thanks.

Does this happen on all publications or just one?

Have you tried installing the latest graphics card drivers and latest version of Direct X for you PC, if not I would try this first.

Regards

It was happening in all my publications. I created some simple dummy ones as Opus and Flex. Same result.

For some reason later last night it started working again. Hmm.

I'm wondering if it had something to do with having some "theme" changers on my PC. I loaded some of the "widget" tools on my PC yesterday. I noticed that the desktop widgets would flash when my pointer was dissappearing inside my Opus publication. I had rebooted my PC last night but that didn't solve it then either. I shut down all the Windows themes to no avail either.

I don't know. I just assumed I had done something wrong in my Opus publication. I guess this time I didn't. :D

Thank you for your enquiry.

Have these 'theme changers' installed a new set of cursors which may behave differently to the standard Windows cursor set. Please try the following:

- Click Start > Settings > Control Panel
- Double-click the Mouse option
- Select the Pointers tab
- Ensure that the Scheme reads Windows Default (system scheme)
- Click Apply and OK, restarting if prompted
- Now test your publication and see if the same problems are displayed

I hope this helps. Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any further queries.

Kind regards,
