I was pleased to see that there is to be a forthcoming Service Release 3 update which hopefully will be released before the Christmas holidays (please, please, please).

This did start me wondering about the Evolution Subscription Program for Opus Pro.

Somewhere I have a certificate dated 17 April 2003 which said that for two years I would be provided with no less than two interim upgrades and one major upgrade in any subscription year.

I assumed this meant I would get any improvements as they occurred. But I never did get anything.

What I did get was a CD with Opus Pro 4 this year – except it was no use because an imported pub from 2.81 became unusable. Right clicking any image to get the properties menu resulted in every icon in a long list of image names had to change before the image I wanted could be used. This could take at least 5 minutes.

Upgrade 1 did not help, but after the recent upgrade 2, the problem no longer occurred.

So as I look forward to Service Release 3 to iron out other bugs, I wonder where I stand in regard to my Evolution Program Licence because apart from a free Opus 4 CD, everything I receive through service releases, everyone else receives.

Glenn

Hi,

Thank you for your enquiry.

I am sorry to hear that you have not received an installation CD-ROM for Opus Pro 4.21. We are planning to send new installation discs to all Evolution subscribers with Service Release 3 integrated and I will personally ensure that this is despatched to you upon availability of Service Release 3.

Once again, please accept my apologies for this oversight and we will ensure that this does not occur in future.

Kind regards,

Robin Garrett

Hi Robin

I don't seem to get hard copies of the upgrades either despite being on Evolution.
