Would there be a way to configure Opus pub to force invoking or launching Microsoft's viewer program in lieu of Word itself?

(that is a link to Microsoft download center -- Date Published:

Not sure if that means it won't work, or just wasn't considered.

If Viewer is a solution, that covers MS Word. Seems they have PPT viewer 2007, but Excel viewer is still a 2003 pkg.

--- sounds 'lame'... to have full Office 2007 suite and have to load a viewer to get back to the same transparency/compatibility with IE6/7.

Hi Stephen,

You should be able to use Opus with a transparent page and build a frame around the edges. The document can then be displayed in its native application. Opus will sit on top, but you will still be able to interact with the document.

See the example. Hope this helps.

Mack

Hi Mack

Looks fantastic! Thanks much for this creative solution!

Remove alpha transparency and add a thin frame, and the window stays transparent, still has the visible Frame1, and can be dragged.

:)

Kind Regards,
