I think I have identified a problem in Flex with the stop mouse click passing through property on the general tab of an object (in this case a button).

It does not seem to operate on top of a hypertext link, but it does operate on an object with actions ie. It will deactivate those actions.

If a button with the 'Stop mouse click passing through' option is placed on top of a hypertext link in order to deactivate that link, the link will still function. In preview, it stops the link as it should but when published to Flex, it does not.

I have got around the problem by placing an action on the text rather than use the hypertext function and this will work.

Attached is an imp file showing the problem.

Cheers

David,

This sounds like a limitation in flash but I will check with the development team on Monday.
