Hi,

I have an Opus Pro 04 publication which I have just upgraded to release 4.2.

Under release 4.1 the image file I used as a background (a .png file) displayed perfectly.

However under release 4.2 the image displays as very blocky and blurry in Publication and Page Preview.

Of course, it's entirely possible I have done something in the meantime and this is nothing to do with going from Opus Pro 04 .1 to .2, but if I have I'm not sure what!

I have checked the image file sizes. The raw image is 1535 x 1107, and I have it displaying in Opus at 1595 x 1145, with the "Fixed" box checked.

I have tried rescaling the image in Dreamweaver to 1595 x 1145 and checked it displays clearly via the Windows Explorer preview facility (which it does), but it still displays as very blocky and fuzzy via Opus Preview Publication.

I have also tried it as a JPEG at 1595 x 1145, but same again.

Any ideas?

Best regards,

Rod.

Hi,

Thank you for your enquiry.

It sounds as though you are using the very first available build of Service Release 2 which displayed image rendering problems if the height of the image object was not divisible by 2.

Please download and install the latest version of Service Release 2 from ftp://ftp.digitalworkshop.com/pub/opusu ... 04_SR2.exe. This will update Opus Pro to version 4.21 and should resolve the problems you have encountered. This update can be installed on top of the original Service Release 2.

Kind regards,
