I have a video on a VHS tape I want to include in an Opus Pub. Anyone got any recommendations as to the best way to connect the VCR to the computer – satellite or graphics card, external box, etc?

Secondly, what’s the best format to have the finished video in for a stand-alone pub on a CD?

Many thanks

Glenn

I use a JVC machine with VHS and DV tape transports to dub between the two, then import the DV video into the computer via a Firewire link & do any video editing in Premiere. Probably an expensive option, but it works.
