Hi

I'm beginning to create DVD video using XE 5.14 and find that text is blurry even though I have tried the various anti-aliasing settings (none-level 2) available. I've used 24 point Bold MS Trebucet font, and on TV screen playback, it shows poorly. White type on a black screen looks best (acceptable), while most other color combinations are too fuzzy to look professional.

Are there any tips and tricks to choosing font, color and anti-aliasing settings for DVD publication?

I would appreciate any help.

Kind Regards,

Stephen

Unfortunately the MPEG2 compression used for DVD does tend to spoil the quality of the text, especially when viewed on a TV rather than a monitor. I'd suggest you have a look at a few commercial DVDs to see what works best and try to emulate that as best as possible.
