this may be an undocumented feature of the video player.
If I choose mute audio when I start a video the sound will be muted, but the sound will come on again if I pause and resume or reset and play again.

(This is using a .mov file from my digital camera.)

I have to make an action on the play button to turn the volume down to 0% or edit the .mov file to remove the sound track
