I note, with some dissatisfaction, that Cover Dialog removal is no longer available in Presenter Pro 05. It's been there on the Publications/General tab for years - since Illuminatus - why has it gone away - despite what any Help file says - it certainly doesn't appear in the 'box' on my machine.
I always prefer to run a copy of Cover-Dialog on a closing page. Can we have that facility back please ?

The ability to change or remove the cover dialog is part of the Opus Creator/Pro/Pro XE products. It is not included in the Presenter, Home or Headstart ranges as a disincentive to people buying the cheaper product and then ignoring the license terms about not selling the end products. It is an unfortunate commercial necessity.

If you do not use scripting or database support then you may find that Opus Creator is more the product you want, at a similar price point, as this has a commercial use license. If you need the scripting/database support then Pro is the product for you.

As you have only just purchased Presenter Pro I'm sure Sales could arrange a cross- or upgrade for only the difference (if any) in prices.

Duncan, Thanks for your reply. I can understand the commercial necessity - even if the facility was available in Presenter 2.81 - which was running before.
I will consider my options & requirements.
Thank You
