I have animated an object that resides within a frame using the “Move Vertical” property. I am moving the object in question relative to its position within the frame.

When I preview using Opus, the animation performs correctly.
However, once I export the publication to an “swf”, the animation heads off in the opposite direction.

Has anyone come across this before or have any ideas how to resolve the issue?

Thanks,

Pete.

Update;

The problem seems to be that whilst executing under an Opus environment, objects within a frame are moved relative to the holding frames position.

Conversely, when executing the publication in a Flash environment, the holding frames position is ignored and objects are moved relative to the page origin.

This makes it a real pain to develop and test anything as first one has to publish to flash to ensure any animation is ok, rather than simply being able to use the Preview page facility.

Any chance of a fix DW? Please .... ?

Thanks,

Pete.

Pete,

Is it possible to send a copy of the problem page to support@digitalworkshop.com and we will be happy to take a look at it and see if we can't track the problem down.

I have tried to replicate this isssue without success (that is, I cannot see any difference in function between Flex and standard Opus). If you could send us an example it would be very helpful.

Hi Guys, I will create a stripped down version of the project to illustrate the problem tomorrow and post it.

Thanks,

Pete.

I have emailed the sample publication illustrating the problem.

Thanks,

Pete,

I will look at it on Monday on my return to the office as I don't have 04 installed here at home.
